Truck campers are typically made out of a wood and steel frame, covered by corrugated aluminum or fiberglass. Some of the nicer models also have insulation for increased comfort. An advantage of campers being removable is the Truck may also be used without the camper whenever you do not want it. However, if removing the camper is an argument this could be another thing to think about in your purchase. One idea is to buy the Truck used and the camper new. Truck campers can be bought for under $10,000 and if you purchase a second hand Truck your cost might be way below $30,000.
